Terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: 9 September 2026
These general terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship between AHP PROD ("Tignasse") and any professional buyer on the tignasse.fr website. By placing an order, the buyer accepts in full and without reservation these terms.
Article 1 — Purpose
1.1 — These general terms and conditions of sale (the "Terms") apply exclusively to online sales made on tignasse.fr, access to which is free and unrestricted.
1.2 — The buyer acknowledges having read these Terms and accepts them without reservation by ticking the relevant checkbox before validating their order.
1.3 — AHP PROD reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. New terms apply as soon as published online.
1.4 — Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the customs of the distance-selling sector in France.
1.5 — These Terms define the rights and obligations of the parties for online sale of products to professional buyers.
1.6 — These Terms apply only to purchases made by buyers located in France or in the European Union, delivered to the countries served by Tignasse (15 European Union countries — see the Shipping page).
Article 2 — Order
2.1 — The buyer places the order online, from the catalogue, by completing the form provided on the website, or by telephone with AHP PROD — the order is then entered by AHP PROD and governed by article 25.
2.2 — Validation of the order requires acceptance of these Terms and the provision of information necessary for delivery and payment.
2.3 — Any order constitutes acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the products available for sale.
2.4 — A confirmation email is sent to the buyer as soon as possible after order validation.
2.5 — AHP PROD may block an order in the event of payment failure, incorrect address, or any other problem with the buyer's account.
2.6 — In the event a product becomes unavailable after the order, the buyer is informed by email. The remainder of the order remains firm.
2.7 — Order changes after confirmation are subject to AHP PROD's prior agreement.
2.8 — For order tracking, the buyer may write to contact@tignasse.fr indicating the order number.
Article 3 — Payment
3.1 — Payment terms
Any order entails payment of its amount. Placing the order constitutes a firm commitment to pay.
Payment is made by bank card (CB, Visa, Mastercard, e-Carte Bleue) and, depending on device and order eligibility, via the Apple Pay or Google Pay wallets. The buyer guarantees that they hold the necessary authorisations for the chosen method.
Salon subscription credits are payable exclusively by bank card (electronic wallets do not allow the card registration required for automatic renewal — see article 22.4).
Orders taken by telephone (article 25) may additionally be settled by bank transfer or by cheque, except those including a Salon subscription, which are payable by card only for the reason set out above. Bank details appear on the invoice.
For such orders, the payment term is stated on the invoice: payable on receipt, within 30 days or within 60 days from the issue date, within the limits set by article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code. Absent any such statement, payment is due on receipt. Penalties beyond that term are those of articles 3.4 and 9.
AHP PROD may suspend management and delivery in the event of bank refusal or non-payment. AHP PROD may refuse delivery for prior non-payment.
Sums paid in advance generate interest at the legal rate after three months until delivery or restitution.
3.2 — Payment security
Payment is processed by Société Générale's payment gateway (Sogecommerce), either on the payment page hosted by Sogecommerce or directly on the website through an embedded payment form whose card fields are secure modules served by Sogecommerce. In both cases, card data is entered within the payment platform's secure environment and never passes through AHP PROD's servers: no card number is stored by AHP PROD.
When paying with Apple Pay or Google Pay, transaction data is exchanged between the buyer's device, their wallet provider and the payment platform, without passing through AHP PROD.
3.3 — Electronic signature
In accordance with the French Law of 13 March 2000 on electronic signatures, providing the credit card number and final order validation constitutes proof of the buyer's agreement, making the sums due and the operations signed.
In the event of fraudulent use of the credit card, the buyer must immediately contact their bank.
3.4 — Late payment
Any sum unpaid at maturity automatically generates, without prior formal notice, interest at the legal rate increased in accordance with the legal provisions applicable to relations between professionals.
3.5 — Default of payment
AHP PROD may demand payment, suspend delivery, or terminate the contract in the event of default, retaining any deposit paid as compensation.
Article 4 — Order confirmation
Contractual information is confirmed by email to the buyer, no later than at the time of delivery.
Article 5 — Proof of transaction
Computerised records, kept in AHP PROD's systems under reasonable security conditions, are deemed proof of communications, orders, and payments between the parties.
Order forms and invoices are archived on a reliable and durable medium.
Article 6 — Product information
6.1 — The products offered for sale are those appearing on tignasse.fr, indicated as sold and shipped by AHP PROD, while stocks last.
6.2 — Products are described as accurately as possible. However, if errors or omissions have occurred in this presentation, AHP PROD's liability cannot be engaged.
6.3 — Product photographs are not contractual.
Article 7 — Copyright
7.1 — All images created by Alexandre PATTEIN, sold and presented in the catalogue published on AHP PROD's website, remain the moral and physical property of their author.
7.2 — Editing, modifying, distorting or adding elements to the photographs without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
7.3 — Ownership of the acquired physical medium does not entail any transfer of reproduction rights. Any rental, reuse, or transfer to third parties of the photographs, banners or images created by Alexandre PATTEIN, in any form whatsoever, without the author's consent, is strictly prohibited. All other rights require the author's prior written consent in accordance with articles L.111-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
7.4 — Representations of the works are exclusively for public communication at the hairdresser's point of sale (hair salon only), in the name of the natural or legal person who acquired them.
Article 8 — Prices
8.1 — AHP PROD reserves the right to modify its prices at any time but applies the prices in effect at the time of order.
8.2 — Prices are quoted in euros, excluding shipping fees. French VAT at 20% applies to deliveries within France; for intra-EU deliveries with a valid VAT number, purchases are invoiced under reverse-charge (article 283-2 of the French General Tax Code). Any change in the VAT rate is automatically reflected in product prices.
8.3 — If new taxes or contributions were created or modified, this change may be reflected in product prices.
8.4 — Shipping is offered for mainland France for any order above €200 net. For other zones, a rebate applies above this threshold (see Shipping page).
Article 9 — Late payment penalties
9.1 — Default of payment at maturity entails, automatically and without formal notice, the application of a late payment penalty. These penalties are charged ex officio to the buyer's account.
9.2 — Default of payment of one order entails, at AHP PROD's option, either termination of all other orders or forfeiture of the term.
9.3 — AHP PROD may seise the competent court to compel performance under daily penalty.
Article 10 — Returns
10.1 — Except for defects, delivery errors, or exceptional cases agreed in writing, AHP PROD does not accept returns.
10.2 — When a return is granted, return costs are borne by the buyer. Products must be returned in their original packaging.
For details of return procedures, see the Returns and warranty page.
Article 11 — Retention of title
11.1 — Transfer of ownership of the products is suspended until full payment of the price by the customer, in principal and accessories.
11.2 — AHP PROD may invoke its retention of title rights for any debt over all products in the customer's possession, by reclaiming or claiming them as compensation.
11.3 — The buyer is not authorised to resell the goods before full payment. They may not pledge them or transfer them as security. Resale exposes the buyer to legal proceedings.
11.4 — AHP PROD may demand termination of the contract after formal notice. AHP PROD may unilaterally take inventory with free access to warehouses.
11.5 — In the event of judicial recovery or liquidation of the buyer, ongoing orders are automatically cancelled. AHP PROD claims the goods in stock.
11.6 — This clause does not prevent the transfer of risks upon delivery.
11.7 — From delivery, the buyer is depositary and custodian of the goods. In the event of non-payment, AHP PROD may terminate the contract after formal notice. Return costs remain at the buyer's expense.
Article 12 — Product availability
12.1 — Save force majeure or announced closures, dispatch times are those indicated for products in stock, from the date the order is recorded.
12.2 — AHP PROD undertakes to deliver within the time communicated upon order validation.
12.3 — In the event of delay, AHP PROD's liability cannot be engaged, for any cause whatsoever. No compensation claim may be made by the buyer on this basis.
12.4 — In the event of unavailability, the buyer is informed as soon as possible with the option to cancel. The buyer may choose between a refund (within 30 days maximum) or an exchange.
Article 13 — Delivery terms
13.1 — Delivery only occurs after confirmation of bank payment.
13.2 — Products are delivered as parcels, by post or by an independent carrier, depending on size and weight.
13.3 — Delivery is made to the address indicated on the order form. Any parcel returned to AHP PROD due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address will be re-shipped at the buyer's expense.
13.4 — In the event of absence at delivery, the courier leaves a delivery notice allowing the parcel to be collected.
13.5 — If the packaging is damaged or open at delivery, the buyer must check the condition of the products. In case of damage, the buyer must refuse the parcel and write a reservation on the delivery slip.
13.6 — The buyer indicates on the delivery slip any anomaly (damage, missing item, damaged parcel, broken products).
13.7 — Inspection is deemed completed upon signature of the delivery slip.
13.8 — The buyer must confirm these reservations to the carrier by registered letter no later than two business days following receipt. A copy is sent to AHP PROD at contact@tignasse.fr.
13.9 — Returns must be requested within 7 days following delivery. Any claim beyond this will be rejected. The product must be in its original condition.
Article 14 — Delivery errors
14.1 — The buyer must submit to AHP PROD, on the day of delivery or no later than the first business day following delivery, any claim of delivery error or non-conformity of the products in nature or quality. Any claim beyond will be rejected.
14.2 — Claims may be made by email to contact@tignasse.fr.
14.3 — Any claim not made under the rules defined above and within the allotted times cannot be considered and will release AHP PROD from all liability.
14.4 — Upon receipt of the claim, AHP PROD assigns an exchange number communicated by email. The exchange can only take place after the number has been assigned.
14.5 — In the event of error or exchange, the product must be returned via Colissimo Recommandé to: 19, rue Lapie Henrion, 51360 Val-de-Vesle, in its entirety and in its original packaging.
14.6 — Return costs are borne by AHP PROD if the products are in their original packaging.
Article 15 — Product warranty
In accordance with applicable legal texts (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), AHP PROD warrants the buyer against all consequences of hidden defects of the sold item.
Article 16 — Right of withdrawal
Since the buyer is a professional purchasing in the course and for the needs of their profession, the right of withdrawal provided by the French Consumer Code (article L.221-3) does not apply.
Article 17 — Force majeure
17.1 — Circumstances beyond the parties' control preventing normal performance of the contract are exonerating and entail suspension of obligations.
17.2 — The party invoking these circumstances must immediately notify the other of their occurrence and disappearance.
17.3 — Force majeure events include all irresistible facts or circumstances, external to the parties, unforeseeable, unavoidable, beyond the parties' control. Expressly included are: blockage of transport, earthquakes, fires, storms, floods, lightning, telecommunications outages.
17.4 — The parties shall consult to examine the impact of the event and agree on continuation arrangements. If the duration of the impediment exceeds three months, termination is possible.
Article 18 — Partial invalidity
If one or more provisions of these Terms are held invalid or declared as such pursuant to a law, regulation or judicial decision, the other provisions retain their full force and scope.
Article 19 — Non-waiver
The fact that one of the parties does not invoke a breach by the other party of any of the obligations referred to in these Terms cannot be interpreted in the future as a waiver of the obligation in question.
Article 20 — Titles
In the event of difficulty of interpretation between the titles and the clauses, the titles are declared non-existent.
Article 21 — Applicable law and jurisdiction
21.1 — These Terms are governed by French law, to the exclusion of the Vienna Convention on the international sale of goods.
21.2 — The parties undertake to seek an amicable solution to any dispute.
21.3 — Failing an amicable agreement, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court of the defendant's domicile or the place of effective delivery, at AHP PROD's option.
Article 22 — Tignasse webapp — digital access and Salon subscription
22.1 — Consultation webapp
AHP PROD operates the webapp.tignasse.fr web application, an installable consultation PWA that extends the physical Tignasse book collection (T1 to T23). Since June 2026, the webapp runs in display-only mode: it requires neither an account nor a sign-in. It shows the digital content (digital book versions, the «Trouve ton look» hairstyle image search) unlocked for the partner salon the user is in, that salon being determined by scanning a Tignasse QR code and sharing their position (see article 22.5).
Customer account, salon, subscription management and code activation are all carried out on the tignasse.fr website, under «Application Tignasse». Use of the webapp implies acceptance of these Terms as well as the privacy policy and cookies policy of tignasse.fr.
22.2 — Digital activation codes
Each physical copy of a Tignasse book contains a printed paper activation code.
When purchasing the «Digital only» (BKN) format, AHP PROD generates and emails the buyer a digital activation code formatted as DG-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX after order confirmation. This dematerialized code unlocks the book the same way a paper code does.
Formats that only include a USB key (BKUSB) do not grant online digital consultation access; the digital content is delivered exclusively on the physical medium provided.
Code activation is carried out from the «Application Tignasse» area of tignasse.fr, by entering the code for one of the salons registered by the buyer. The activated code is then definitively tied to the chosen salon; this binding can only be modified by AHP PROD's support team upon request from the buyer.
An activated code grants access to the digital book version, for the visitors of the salon concerned, without time limit as long as the buyer's account remains active and as long as the webapp.tignasse.fr service continues to be operated by AHP PROD.
22.3 — Partner salons: free registration
A professional buyer may register one or several salons (physical establishments) free of charge in their account, with address, geographic coordinates and a unique URL slug on webapp.tignasse.fr/salon/[slug]. Salon registration is free of charge and creates no obligation to subscribe.
Registered salons appear on the partner salons map (managed by AHP PROD) and receive a public landing page with the generic Tignasse design.
22.4 — Salon subscription
The Salon subscription is based on a credit model: 1 credit = 1 covered salon. Credits are purchased from the «Application Tignasse» area of tignasse.fr, in batches of 1 to 10 and without a prior salon; each credit is then definitively assigned to one of the buyer's salons. Re-assigning a credit to another salon is only possible through AHP PROD's support team.
The subscription is offered as an annual plan (12-month commitment). Pricing (VAT 20 % applies for French customers) is degressive: EUR 290 per year for the account's first credit, then EUR 149.90 per year per additional credit. When the customer account already holds at least one active credit, any credit purchased thereafter directly benefits from the reduced EUR 149.90 rate. Beyond 10 credits, the buyer must contact sales for a custom quote.
Billing occurs at the time of purchase of the credit: a purchased credit is billed even if it has not yet been assigned to a salon.
The Salon subscription is reserved for buyers operating one or more salons. It is not available to wholesalers and resellers, whose account is identified as such: a credit covers an establishment, not a resale business. Any request from a reseller wishing to equip its own establishments is handled by the sales department.
The number of active credits per customer account is capped at twenty. Beyond that, a credit could no longer be assigned to a salon: purchases exceeding this cap are refused, and any larger request is handled by the sales department. A single order placed on the website may not carry more than ten credits at a time.
AHP PROD may, on a commercial and free-of-charge basis, grant a salon a one-month trial subscription. Such a granted subscription opens the same benefits as a purchased one, but does not renew automatically — it lapses at its term unless AHP PROD decides to extend it — and does not open the degressive pricing: a first credit purchased afterwards is still billed at the first-credit rate.
Subscription credits are not eligible for any promotional code or discount. Promo codes and the -10 % subscriber discount never apply to the subscription amount: they only apply to the other products in the cart (books, prints, kakemonos, equipment).
A salon covered by an active credit automatically receives, for visitors detected within its geographic radius:
- full access to digital books in the Tignasse catalogue, without needing to enter individual codes;
- display of the salon logo on the webapp instead of the generic Tignasse logo;
- an automatic -10 % discount on every order placed by the subscription's owner account on
tignasse.fr; - delivery of the two latest collections in their «Paper + Digital» version (model photographs and access QR codes), for as long as the subscription remains active.
The subscription is automatically renewed at each annual term, at the renewal rate of €149.90 (excl. VAT) per year and per credit. To support this renewal, the bank card used at purchase is registered as a token (alias) with the Sogecommerce payment platform — the card number is never stored by AHP PROD — and the renewal charge is made automatically at the due date. The buyer can view and update their card at any time from their account area (under «Account → Subscription», «Payment method» section); an invoice is issued for each renewal.
If a renewal charge fails (expired card, bank refusal), the buyer is informed by email and has a 7-day grace period during which the subscription benefits are maintained and the card can be updated. Failing regularisation at the end of this period, the credit concerned is suspended.
The buyer may turn off automatic renewal at any time from their account area on tignasse.fr (under «Account → Subscription»): the subscription then stays active until the end of the current period, after which it lapses with no further billing. No prorated refund is granted on the period already started.
The buyer may also remove the registered card at any time from their account area (under «Account → Subscription», «Payment method» section, «Remove my card» button). Removal cancels the alias with Sogecommerce, erases it from the customer record and turns off automatic renewal for every credit on the account: each subscription stays active until the end of its current period, then lapses with no further billing and no prorated refund. The €149.90 (excl. VAT) renewal rate is reserved for the renewal of an active credit: once the subscriptions have lapsed, any new subscription is billed at the first-credit rate (€290 excl. VAT). When renewals are still active, these consequences are shown to the buyer, who must confirm them before the removal. The buyer may register a new card and turn renewal back on at any time before the due date; if the alias cancellation fails with Sogecommerce, the card is kept and the buyer is told so.
Ending a subscription (lapse or non-renewal) makes the salon lose the related benefits (full book access for in-zone visitors, custom logo, -10 % discount, collection deliveries). The individual unlocks acquired by code activation nonetheless remain valid — ending the subscription never revokes a book unlocked by an activation code.
22.5 — Geolocation and contextual experience
When a Tignasse QR code is scanned, the webapp asks the user for permission to share their position. As Tignasse QR codes are identical for everyone and already distributed, geolocation is the only way to attach a visitor to a partner salon.
If the user accepts sharing their position and is within a salon-defined radius (default 300 m), they are attached to that salon — a 4-hour session token is then set (see cookies policy) — and access the content unlocked for that salon (salon logo, and full book access if the salon is covered by an active credit).
If the user declines geolocation, or if no partner salon matches their position, the webapp shows a screen inviting them to register their salon on tignasse.fr; no salon content is then presented.
For details on geolocation data retention and processing purposes, see the privacy policy.
22.6 — Suspension of webapp access
AHP PROD reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the digital consultation access associated with a customer account — and therefore with all of that account's salons — in case of abusive usage (e.g. massive sharing of an activation code, intrusion attempts, behaviour contrary to these Terms). In the event of suspension, the buyer is informed by email at the address associated with their account.
Suspension of digital consultation access does not modify AHP PROD's obligations regarding in-flight physical orders (delivery, product warranty).
Article 23 — Email communications — newsletter and operational
23.1 — Opt-in to the Tignasse newsletter (news, releases, commercial offers) is optional and independent of acceptance of these Terms. Three entry points allow subscribing:
- A separate checkbox when creating a customer account on
tignasse.fr; - The account area of
tignasse.fr, under «Profile → Newsletter» (toggle editable at any time); - The newsletter form in the footer of
tignasse.fr— accessible without creating an account, by simply entering an email address. No Tignasse account is created through this entry point: if the address matches an existing customer account, that account's newsletter preference is turned on; otherwise only the email address is added to the mailing list.
23.2 — The buyer may withdraw consent at any time by unchecking the option in their account area or by using the «unsubscribe» link at the bottom of each marketing email. The withdrawal is effective within 48 business hours at the latest, in accordance with GDPR requirements.
23.3 — Regardless of marketing consent, AHP PROD sends the buyer the operational emails strictly necessary to contract performance: order confirmation, delivery tracking, invoice, digital activation codes, Salon subscription notifications (due dates, renewal, suspension). These emails may not be unsubscribed from while the customer account remains active.
Article 24 — Promotional codes and discounts
24.1 — AHP PROD may issue promotional codes and apply automatic discounts (for example: the -10 % subscriber discount). Unless otherwise stated when they are communicated, codes are personal: they are assigned to a customer account or a customer segment and are neither assignable nor transferable. The codes assigned to the buyer can be viewed in their account area (under «My account → My codes»).
24.2 — A code may carry specific conditions, stated when it is communicated and recalled in the «My codes» area: validity period (expiry date), single use per customer account, restriction to certain product categories (for example: kakemonos, scissors, combs) or to certain print finishes (Photo, Photo Crystal, Vitrophanie). Once expired or consumed, a single-use code can no longer be used.
24.3 — Some codes and discounts cannot be combined with each other or with automatic promotions; in that case, the website indicates it when the code is applied and only one discount is retained.
24.4 — Salon subscription credits are not eligible for any promotional code or discount (see article 22.4): discounts only apply to the other products in the cart.
24.5 — A promotional code has no monetary value: it can be neither refunded, nor exchanged, nor converted. The discount applies to the order on which the code is used and is not retroactive to previous orders.
24.6 — AHP PROD reserves the right to deactivate a promotional code in the event of fraudulent or abusive use, or use contrary to its terms of issue.
Article 25 — Telephone orders, customer account and payment link
25.1 — Orders taken by telephone
AHP PROD may record an order taken by telephone (in particular for its wholesale customers). The order is entered by AHP PROD based on the buyer's instructions, whose accuracy the buyer guarantees; it is governed by these T&Cs in the same way as an order placed on the website.
Tax identification follows the same rules as on the website: the SIREN or SIRET number is optional for invoicing in France (it will become mandatory with e-invoicing in 2027); the intra-community VAT number remains mandatory for any invoicing in another served Member State, since the VAT exemption under the reverse-charge mechanism presupposes identification of the customer.
An order taken by telephone carrying a Salon subscription may not include any other item: the subscription requires card settlement via the payment link (article 25.3), which would deprive the goods of the other means of payment. Items are then the subject of a separate order, payable by any means provided for in article 3.1.
Commercial documents (purchase order, delivery note, invoice) may be sent to the buyer by email, to the address provided when ordering.
25.2 — Customer account attached to every order
Every order — placed on the website or by telephone — is attached to a customer account matching the buyer's email address. That account gathers their orders, invoices and, where applicable, subscriptions. AHP PROD never sets, knows or communicates any password.
For an order placed on the website, the account is created before the order: the buyer sets their own password when registering, as no order can be completed without an account.
For an order taken by telephone from a buyer other than a wholesale customer, a login identity is created automatically, without a usable password. The buyer then activates the account by setting their own password, via the website's "forgot password" function or the setup link received by email — both of which require access to their mailbox.
For a wholesale order taken by telephone, no login identity is created by default: the wholesale customer has not requested an online account, and the "forgot password" function remains without effect for that address as long as no identity exists. Two routes open that access. The first is the "Receive the link by email" button on the online payment page, available as long as the order is neither settled nor cancelled: AHP PROD then creates the login identity and sends the link allowing the password to be set. The second, where that page is no longer available — in particular where the order was settled by bank transfer —, is a request to AHP PROD, which then sends that same link to the email address attached to the order.
25.3 — Payment link
To settle an order taken by telephone, AHP PROD may send the buyer a payment link opening a secure online payment page. The amount paid is that of the order, as determined by AHP PROD; it cannot be modified by the holder of the link.
Payment requires signing in to the customer account attached to the order (the account of the email address that received the link). A payment link is therefore strictly personal: forwarded to a third party, it does not allow the order to be paid without the holder's credentials.
The link remains valid as long as the order is neither settled nor cancelled: it does not expire on its own. Once payment has been made, the page shows the order as settled and no further payment is accepted on that link. If the order is cancelled by AHP PROD, the link is invalidated and any payment is refused.
Payment is made under the conditions of article 3 (Sogecommerce — bank card and, where eligible, electronic wallets; bank card only when the order includes a Salon subscription, cf. article 22.4).
Article 26 — Availability of physical products
Physical products (printed books, USB keys, roll-up banners, photographic prints, equipment and fixings) are sold subject to available stock. AHP PROD keeps the availability of these items up to date; a sold-out item automatically stops being offered for sale, both on the website and when an order is taken by telephone.
The quantity ordered may not exceed the quantity available at the time of payment. Stock is not reserved when an item is added to the basket: it is reserved at payment. As a result, an item still visible in the basket may become unavailable before payment if another buyer has acquired it in the meantime; the website then informs the buyer and adjusts the quantity that can be ordered.
Some versions of the same work share the same physical stock: bundles including the printed book stop being available once printed copies are sold out, while the digital version of the same title remains accessible. The same applies to bundles including a USB key.
Unavailability of an item does not give rise to any compensation. If an item becomes unavailable after an order taken by telephone has been settled, AHP PROD informs the buyer and proceeds, at its option, with replacement, partial delivery of the outstanding items, or the issuance of a credit note for the missing item.
